Together, Bob and Helen Kleberg led in Texas Thoroughbred breeding, notably as owners of Triple Crown Winner Assault. Helen Kleberg, as a very talented photographer, worked closely with her friend and colleague, Toni Frissell, preeminent fashion photographer of the 1930s and '40s noted for being the first to move out of the studio to photograph clothing in glamorous locations.
