Terms of Sale

Orders placed on the website will receive a 40% discount.  The list (suggested retail price)
is noted on each title.  The discount earned will be from the list price.  No minimum order required.

Product ships from Reserve, Louisiana.  Freight is prepaid and added to your invoice.

Net 30 days from invoice date with approved credit.

New Accounts:
Please request and complete a credit sheet for credit approval.  Include sales tax exemption information.

Event Orders:
If purchasing books for signings, please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery.

To avoid confusion for our customers, we do not backorder out of stock titles.  For titles ordered but not shipped, our customer service representatives will call periodically to specifically inform you of titles back in stock.  Also, you are welcome to call anytime to check on the stock status of titles or to place a new order. 

Shortages and Damages:
All shortages and damages must be reported within 30 days of invoiced date.

Books returned within six months from the invoice date will be given full credit as long as the merchandise
arrives at our warehouse in saleable condition.  Books with store stickers will not be accepted.  Credit
will be applied to your account for future purchases.  Calendars must be returned by February 1st to receive credit.  Returns for dated events, (example: Christmas, Mardi Gras guides, etc.) will only be accepted for one month after the date of the holiday.  Any unaccepted returns will be held at Forest Sales for two months until the customer sends a call tag to have the books picked up from our warehouse.  Forest Sales determines which books will be accepted.

Warehouse Hours:
Our warehouse is open between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to Noon on Friday, Central Standard Time.  We are closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Mardi Gras Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the following Friday, and Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
